Why you need to use the Pristine Test Kit: 

When you are on the Pristine Blue pool chemicals you will be keeping a level of copper in your water. This is what sanitizes your water instead of keeping chlorine in your water. The Pristine Blue test kit tests your water 

Adhere to these suggestions to achieve optimal outcomes:

1) Fill your test tube to the 10mL mark with sample water. Gather the sample water from your pool or spa at elbow depth below the water's surface. To do this, turn the test tube upside down, submerge it until the water comes up to your elbow, then turn the test tube right side up and remove it from the water to collect the sample.

2) Empty the remaining water gradually until the sample reaches the 10mL mark.

3) Add five drops of Copper A to the test tube. Hold the bottle fully inverted (upside down) when adding the drops.

4) Put the cap on the test tube and invert it to mix.

5) Remove the test tube cap, then add five drops of Copper B to the tube. Add drops with the bottle upside down.

6) Cap the test tube and invert it to mix.

7) Allow three minutes for complete color development. Place the test tube in the holder of your Mini Test Kit container, ensuring it stands upright during this time

8) Place the color-matching chart on a flat, stable surface. This will help ensure that the test tube does not fall over and spill while you are matching the color.

9) Remove the cover from the test tube. The cover must be REMOVED for an accurate reading.

10) Hold the open test tube upright on a white area of the color-matching chart.

11) Align color by viewing directly down through the tube. Look through the top of the test tube as if you were looking down through a microscope. Match the color in the tube with the squares on the color-matching chart.
