- PURGE your spa/hot tub with Clean Start by SilkBalance
- REFILL spa with clean soft water and REINSTALL filter and ancillary items as instructed by the manufacturer.
- ADJUST water chemistry (see store for instructions)
- ADD SilkBalance to the spa with jets on full and circulate for 10 minutes.
- Enjoy silky soft, odor-free, and balanced water

38 ounce will last about 8 weeks (2 months)
76 ounce will last about 16 weeks (4 months)
If you have a 400 (or more) gallon spa you add 4 ounces per week. A 300 (or under) gallon spa you add only 3 ounces per week so it could last you a little longer! The jug will explain everything to you, it is very easy to understand. -
What is the difference between the gems and the liquid?
The only difference between the gems and the liquids are that the gems are already measured out for you when adding them to your spa! They desolve within 20 seconds and they work great.

I keep reading that customers are adding chlorine with this. I thought this was to be used in place of Chlorine/Bromine?
Silk Balance is not a sanatizer so you still need one like chlorine or bromine, silk Balance inhibits bio-flim so you can keep your chlorine level low around 1.5 ppm instead of 2 to 3 ppm. Also the water will feel very silky-smooth with out drying your skin.
