X10 Water Filter
For less than 1 cent per gallon, The X10 Water Filter is good for up to 10,000 gallons and is great for filtering water* for: - Pools and Spas - No need to use metal removers and helps to correct pH and alkalinity issues in all water, including well water.
- Washing Cars, Boats, and RVs - No more hard-water spotting.
- Koi Ponds and Aquariums - Allow your fish to start in a more pure environment.
- Drinking Water for Pets and Livestock - Give your animals the best that you can.
- Cooling Towers - Reduce and eliminate contaminants before they enter the system.
- Fountains, Waterfalls and other Water Attractions - Eliminate scaling and equipment fatigue by removing contaminants from the source water.
- Human Consumption - X10 Water Filter makes your current drinking water even better!
Get the Quality of Bottled Water with the Spa Marvel X10 Water Filter. Removes up to 99% of water contaminants, eliminating most water problems caused by metal, minerals, lime, calcium and volatile organic compounds.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
Ask a Question-
The filter says max limit is 2gpm. Is that the max it can filter effectively? The water from the hose through the filter is much higher than 2gpm.
The X10 filter actually will slow the water gpm to 2 gpm to filter effectively. If you would like to go faster, you can put a splitter on the hose and use 2 filters getting you up to 4 gpm and so on.

What happens if the filter dries out?
When the filter dries out, the KDF media in the filter is no longer activated. It's very important to store the filter with some moisture inside. End caps are provided with the filter to prevent it from drying out. If you lose the end caps, use a resealable storage bag instead.

Is there any way to tell when you have reached the 10,000 gallon limit? I use it currently for makeup water for a swim spa.
Thank you for your question. You will know when the X10 has reached it's limit because the sediment trapped inside the filter prevents water from flowing through it. You can put a tick mark on the case of the filter each time you use it and if you know approximately how many gallons you put in to top up the swim spa, take the 2 numbers and multiply them together to get an estimate of the total gallons filtered.

Hello could you please tell me if your X10 WATER FILTER filters bacteria and if so how many microns does it filter?
The X10 Filter primarily works differently than how most filters work, by utilizing a media called Kinetic Degradation Fluxion (KDF). The media works to reduce or remove chlorine, iron, hydrogen sulfide, lead, mercury, calcium carbonate, magnesium, chromium, bacteria, algae, and fungi. The KDF media exchanges electrons with contaminants, changing them into harmless components. During their reactions, electrons are transferred between molecules and new elements are created.
With respect to bacteria specifically, KDF media kills bacteria by direct electrochemical contact and by the flash formation of hydroxyl radicals and hydrogen peroxide, both of which interfere with a microorganism's ability to function.
Having said that, the X10 does also have a 50 micron filter, but it is mainly to collect sediment and other larger particles that may be in the water.
While KDF does a great job at killing bacteria, we do not purport that the X10 Filter is a device to make water microbiologically safe.
