Grime Toad Pool & Spa hot tub oil absorbing ball Hot Tub, Pool or Swim Spa

I was hesitant to buy these because 1) they look like toys and 2) are kind of pricey. BUT THEY WORK!! Definitely worth it to control foam in the hot tub. The husband is very pleased we purchased them too.

I was having scum/foam issues with my hot tub and found these Grime Toads and decided to try them. Overall, this product really helps keep my hot tub clean and they are easy to use (and wash between uses). The toad also attract leaves and other floaters in the tub and I can just shake the leaves off the toad outside of the hot tub with minimal need to use the net.

They seem to work. They look cool. We have one on the corner of our swim spa and wash it every couple of weeks. We rotate between the two. I really don't have a big buildup of scum so I guess this thing is doing its job.

They are super cute, floating around in the swim spa.. Kids love to play with them & even gave them names..
They seem to do a great work with keeping the scum off the sides of the walls, I haven’t had to clean it since I bought them..

Bonus is they also come in a two pack so I can always have one in the swim spa and they are super easy to wash by just throwing them in the washing machine

The Grime Toad works well. It suctions to the wall of the tub (and stays there) and the scum is gone since I started using the scum ray. I wash and swap about every 2-3 weeks.
